Product Composition

Phthalic anhydride is a white scaly or crystalline powder with a purity of more than 99.5%. 

Product Production Process

The production process of o-xylene method is adopted: o-xylene is mixed with air and passes through the catalyst bed of the reactor to react to generate phthalic anhydride and by-products. The captured phthalic anhydride material goes through the continuous rectification process, and the qualified product enters the flake packaging.

Transportation

• When transporting, it should not be close to the fire source, and it should be handled with care to prevent the sun and rain.
• Phthalic anhydride is irritating to eyes and skin.
• Wear protective equipment and pay strict attention to safety when handling.
• Do not contact with skin or inhale.

Storage Conditions

Phthalic anhydride should be stored in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse, away from sunlight, not close to fire sources, and the storage temperature should not exceed 40 ℃.
